Scarred by war, perilous migration routes, and often hostile reception from governments and local residents, migrants arrive to Europe in need of shelter, counselling, and social assistance\u2013\u2013but most of all, mercy and grace.<\/p><p>That&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve undertaken one of our most important missions: Housing and care of refugees in Northern Italy and Western Austria, in the cities of our founding and where many of our sisters live today.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbba307 hypebox bg-dark-green-text e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"bbba307\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d872d37 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d872d37\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Care of migrants truly takes a village. migrants fleeing violent conflicts, human rights abuses, extreme poverty, hunger, and the consequences of climate change\u2013\u2013the poor and forgotten for whom Maria Hueber founded the Tertiary Sisters.<\/p><p>Throughout the region, we manage many apartments for the use of migrant families.<\/p><p>Once we&#8217;ve secured their housing, we form personal relationships with many families, welcoming them to our communities.
