The event took place in the evening, with guests and sisters arriving at 5:30 pm and around 30 guests in attendance.
Sister Magdalene welcomed the guests and sisters, after which Sister Notburga gave a talk on St Francis. Then came the main event: the Klostersuppenessen. Pumpkin soup garnished with pumpkin seed oil and roasted pumpkin seeds was served with bread. For dessert, coffee and cake, as well as tea and cake, were served. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.
After the meal, some of the guests and sisters retired, while about 15 people who were interested in a tour of the convent remained. Sister Maria Luise showed them around. They were quite fascinated, as some of them had no idea what the interior of a convent looked like. After the tour, everyone gathered in the church for night prayers, which were prepared by Sr Magdalene and led by selected guests and sisters. Sister Andrea Maria enhanced the prayers by playing the guitar. This beautiful, prayerful moment brought the occasion to a close. Our guests went home happy and grateful to have been invited, and we received many kind compliments.
