A Memorable and Joyful Day: Three Young Women Join Our Congregation

February 2, 2024, the feast of the presentation of the Lord, and the 28th World Day for Consecrated Life, was a memorable and joyful day for the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis of the Bolivian Province.

A series of events made this day special. Besides the joy of celebrating the gift of Consecrated Life, the “St. Elisabeth of Hungary” Province of Bolivia received two young ladies from Haiti namely Christa Maria Hakamiah and Fedeline Jean Pierre into the postulancy.

Sr. Irma Mojica Vaca was also admitted to the novitiate on the same day. We are grateful to God for the gift of new vocations and wish them much joy and perseverance on the path they have chosen.

Also, the twin celebration of the 45th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Bishop Antonio Bonifacio Reimann and the 50th anniversary of selfless missionary service in Bolivia by Sr. Maria Verena Riepler, a Tertiary St. Francis from Hall (North Tyrol/Austria) was a cause of great joy for the entire parish community of Ascensiòn de Guarayos.
