Our ministries are our expression of our faith, our commitment to our fellow humans, and our commitment to the Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our ministry work takes us to places with few resources and poor infrastructure, and ineffective governments.
We operate schools, hospitals, and clinics in places that would otherwise go without.
When systems and safety nets fail, when people’s needs go unmet, we are there.
Featured ministries
Education Ministry
In 1700, our founder, Maria Hueber, began the first girls’ school in northern Italy, laying the foundation for what would be come the Tertiary Sisters.
Three centuries later, we operate schools on three continents serving a diverse group of students.
Health Ministry
Our health ministry is a living expression of our commitment to helping the sick and suffering, wherever they may be.
In Africa, Europe, and Latin America, our health ministry operates hospitals, clinics, nursing schools, health education classes, and elder care services.
Ministry to Refugees and the Internally Displaced
Whether just off the front lines of conflict zones, or in adoptive hometowns an ocean away, our ministry to refugees and the internally displaced is some of the most complex, difficult, and heart-wending work that we do.
It’s also some of the most rewarding.
