Sr. Theodosia Baki

Superior General

Sr. Theodosia Baki was born on 6 November 1955 in Cameroon. She joined the Congregation of the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis, after completing Secondary School in St. Augustine’s College Nso. She made her Final Profession in 1985.

She obtained a bachelor’s degree in teacher education from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and became a seasoned high school teacher and high school principal for many years. Her long tenure in the teaching ministry led her to hold several positions in the Government General Certificate Examinations (GCE), including being an assessor for Religious Studies at the Ordinary Level. She served in many commissions in various dioceses where she worked.

Her work with refugees in Nigeria in 2017 inspired her to answer the call to be a missionary in Bolivia.

She was elected Superior General of the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis on 26 July 2019 during the General Chapter.

She is currently a member of the UISG Board.

Sr. Theodosia is committed to the TSSF vision of impacting the lives of people wherever they minister. Her source of inspiration is this Scripture text:

“And behold I am with you always, even unto the end of time.”
