The Tertiary Sisters of the Province of Brixen celebrated a very special moment of joy on 25 July 2026 in the Motherhouse in Brixen. Four sisters celebrated their 70th anniversary since they took their first vows, while three others commemorated their 60th anniversary:
- Sr. Adalberta Brunner (70 years)
- Sr. Anna Auckenthaler (70 years)
- Sr. Reinharda Thaler (70 years)
- Sr. Maria Candida Benedikter (70 years)
- Sr. Maria Regina Rainer (60 years)
- Sr. Jakobina Innerbichler (60 years)
- Sr. Ingrid Kerschbaumer (60 years)
During the celebration of the Holy Mass, thanks was given to the Sisters for their many decades of faith, their love of God and their passionate work to benefit the wider community.
The festivities were preceded by a five-day spiritual retreat led by Sr. Anna Elisabeth Rifeser who introduced her fellow Sisters to female Franciscan mystics who have been playing an important role in the 300 years since the foundation of the community.
A glance at the jubilarian leaves no doubt that their lives in the care and grace of God and surrounded by their fellow Sisters has been a rich and happy one.
